Commerce Center

The historic Commerce Center, is a renovated multi-tenant office building, adjacent to the East Race, and part of the Commerce Center Development.  The development currently in construction will include the construction of a mixed-use apartment building, with a grocery store, pharmacy, and parking garage.   The Commerce Center is one of the area’s premier office locations with its unique industrial interior design features, spacious corridors and expansive parking.

 

Located in Downtown South Bend’s popular East Bank Neighborhood on the St. Joseph River Raceway, the Commerce Center is a locally-owned and professionally-managed office complex featuring gigabit per second internet access via the Metronet’s 100% fiber optic network. The Commerce Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was originally constructed as a power plant for the Indiana & Michigan Power Company in 1901.
