About This Project
The East Bank Townhomes, built by East Bank South Bend Development LLC, were the first single family dwellings sold in the Central Business District in South Bend, IN in thirty years (source unknown). The East Bank Townhomes showed to the South Bend community that there is demand for high quality urban housing. The townhomes are positioned in the very heart of South Bend, with amazing views of the downtown skyline, the waterfall of the St. Joseph River and the “island” of the Century Center convention center.
Sold out in 18 months from initial shovel to final contract, the East Bank Townhomes pushed downtown South Bend into the minds and hearts of many residents, and made way for the River Race Townhomes which started in the fall of 2012.
