Matthews LLC Announces Expansion of River Valley Farmers Market at the Commerce Center on the East Race
South Bend, IN – January 1, 2023 – Matthews LLC is excited to announce the expansion of the River Valley Farmers Market, a valued tenant in the Commerce Center on the East Race. To meet the growing demand for fresh, locally grown, and produced food in the East Bank neighborhood, the market will be doubling its square footage and welcoming additional vendors.
Located in Suite 155 of the Commerce Center on the East Race, the River Valley Farmers Market’s new address is 401 E Colfax Ave, Ste 155, South Bend, IN 46617. The market will continue to operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6 am to 3 pm.
Since its opening in January 2020, the River Valley Farmers Market, under the leadership of principal organizer and farmer Rebecca Miller of Miller’s Goats & Gardens in Lakeville, IN, has focused on providing the East Bank community with access to fresh, healthy, and locally sourced food. This expansion will allow the market to offer an even wider variety of products to South Bend residents, supporting both local farmers and the local economy.
